Summary: In the event of a disaster Chandlers archives have a plan in place to continue business where possible.
Chandlers archives will contact the relevant contract managers within 1 hour of a disaster.
Chandlers archives will provide the relevant contract managers details of the severity of the disaster and how it affects that particular customer. We will agree the appropriate actions to be taken.
The plan will be invoked once the approval has been given by the contracts manager.
Prevention of Risk:
Chandlers archives will keep all training and procedures up to date.
Chandlers archives premises will be monitored 24 hours a day and ensure heat and smoke detectors adhere to BAFE standards ( British Approval for Fire Equipment).
Chandlers archives will ensure monitoring arrangements and equipment are tested on a regular basis and have a detailed maintenance program in place.
Operate a secure EDR client viewing facility at all times.
Regularly back up data.
In the event of a disaster
Chandlers archives will Liaise with the appointed contracts manager
Report necessary occurrences to the contracts manager that may affect the contract e.g. power failure, burglar alarm activation, fire alarms.
Compile a list of customers and all of their boxes and locations from backed up data.
Recover electronic backed up data and relocate where business continuity can be maintained.
Access all company and client data from an encrypted computer in the event of power failure or over a secure website, in any location where there is power, to provide a reliable continuous service.
